『Abstract
The status of the controversy concerning remaining supplies of
mineral resources is examined. It is concluded that a serious
shortage of a number of vital raw materials will become evident
during the next few decades. Calculations are made to show that
reserve and consumption data can vary within wide margins without
significantly affecting this conclusion. The reasons for the impending
crisis are examined and suggested solutions assessed.』
